Tour Itinerary
Your journey begins with a morning pick-up from Moshi or Arusha, followed by a scenic drive to Materuni Village (approximately 30–45 minutes from Moshi).
Upon arrival, you’ll start a guided hike through green landscapes filled with banana farms, coffee plants, and local homes. Along the way, your guide will share insights into the Chagga culture and village life.
After about 30–45 minutes of walking, you’ll reach the magnificent Materuni Waterfall. Here, you can relax, take photos, or enjoy a refreshing swim in the cool natural pool beneath the falls.
After the waterfall visit, return to the village for a traditional coffee-making experience. Learn how coffee is grown, processed, roasted, and prepared by the Chagga people—ending with a fresh cup of organic coffee made by you.
A local lunch will be served, giving you a taste of authentic Tanzanian cuisine.
In the afternoon, relax before heading back to your hotel in Moshi or Arusha.
